Klarissa Byers is the Founder and President of Renewed Inspiration. A native of Charlotte, NC, Ms. Byers became interested in the nonprofit sector when she was an educator in Charlotte Mecklenburg School system. After leaving the school system and going into the corporate arena, Ms. Byers continued to pursue her passion to contribute to the future well-being of other youth, particularly young females. Her vision is to help foster respect and self-esteem in young women ranging from middle to high school. Her goal is to develop an atypical program that places an emphasis on life values such as self-esteem, making positive choices and overcoming obstacles. She believes this approach is preferred because it will help shape and mold young girls to young women.
Ms. Byers received her Bachelor's Degree from Winston-Salem State University in Winston Salem, NC. She also obtained her Master's Degree from Strayer University in Business Administration. She is currently pursuing a Paralegal Technology Post Baccalaureate Certification from Central Piedmont Community College and she's a current member of the North Carolina Paralegal Association. Ms. Byers is a Success Coach with Communities and Schools and a active volunteer in the community.
